More about me -
Let me share some of my education and background. I graduated from The Ohio State University with degrees in Sociology and Women's Studies. I raised three beautiful sons and received no letters whatsoever for that. I currently spend a lot of time with my two gorgeous grandsons. During my extensive parenting career, I worked diligently in corporate America to support my family. However, I had wanted to get my Master's in Counseling many years earlier. While caring for my family, I completed a graduate degree in Counseling Education at The University of Dayton. I first received licensure in school counseling and then completed a community counseling licensure program. After national board testing exams and supervising others at an agency, I arrived at the LPCC-S license which stands for licensed professional clinical counselor with supervisory status. Since 2020, I have had the great joy to be studying Expressive Arts therapy from Expressive Arts Florida Institute. Incorporating multi-modal arts processes in my work along with narrative, feminist, existential, and evidenced based practices such as CBT and DBT allow me to draw from a variety of interventions to respond to clients and couples unique treatment needs. My license is E.1200226-SUPV by the Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapy Board of Ohio
